Renato Baran started his career in the Oil and Gas industry, and joined the Aerospace & Defense export credit division of BNDES in 2009. He has been supporting the export of Brazilian aircraft and defense system under the BNDES Exim Post-shipment credit lines and have structured aircraft financing for airlines, lessors and sovereign countries of over USD 5 billion in export financing (Embraer E-Jets) in US, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Renato graduated from PUC - Rio de Janeiro in Automation and Control Engineering. He has Masters in Industrial Engineering in the same institution, and a Doctors Degree in Energy Planning in COPPE/UFRJ.
